The Position
This is a part time, weekend position and candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays 7am - 5pm.
The Medical Assistant works with the medical and nursing staff providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to clients. The medical assistant observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources. The MA is responsible for keeping up-to- date technically and applying new knowledge to the job and providing information to supervisors, co- workers, and others by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. MA will be required to enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form
The Qualifications
MA/CNA license/certification preferred
Must maintain current and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Knowledge of addiction and drug treatment preferred
If in recovery, two (2) years of continuous sobriety required
