    DESCRIPTION:

    Primary responsibilities include ensuring the quality of all products. You will also be required to review/maintain quality system documents and records; be involved in new mold/product validation, cross qualifications, and continuous improvement activities; and be assigned daily 5S and/or process audits.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Participate in product design reviews.

    · Resolve internal product quality issues to reduce defects/scrap.

    · Be on the CAPA team.

    · Participate in resolving customer on-site quality issues and/or quality reviews.

    · Perform part specific quality training.

    · Perform daily 5S and process audits.

    · Verify and validate reports after mold repair, including capability studies, gauge R & R’s, first article reports, etc.

    · Develop and maintain statistical process control database for new medical components.

    · Perform daily inspection of product on the production floor.

    · Support Internal Audits, Customer Audits, and ISO/QS Audits

    · Assist in procedure development and/or maintenance.

    · Responsible for MRB disposition of nonconforming products in the absence of the Quality Manager

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Degree in engineering or related discipline.

    · Plastics experience.

    · Manufacturing experience with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analyses.

    · Must have experience in CMM, GD&T, Vision Systems and Minitab.

    · Demonstrated teaching skills, with a desire and the ability to train and mentor others.

    · Previous quality control experience to include data collection and quality analytics.

    · Knowledge of data collection and some Statistical Quality/Process Control.

    · Excellent written/verbal communications and organizational skills.

    · Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary.

    · Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

    This position is at our client’s Vermont manufacturing facility. Compensation based on experience.
