OVERVIEW AND DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a well-established, privately owned manufacturer of high end creatively designed furniture made using state of the art manufacturing equipment and techniques. The shift team leader position is a new position, playing a key role in the formation of a second shift operation to respond to increasing sales and increasing number of customers.

This is a second shift position, working Monday – Friday from 3 to 11:30 pm with occasional overtime.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform machine set-ups to include tooling and machine adjustments on various 3 and 5 axis CNC machines and other production equipment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve common machine errors.

• Monitor production operations to include performing quality control checks.

• Provide mentoring, coaching, training and personal development to team members.

• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

• Monitor and enforce compliance to health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 1-2 years team leading experience, managing and delegating responsibilities to team members.

· Thrive in and contribute to a collaborative team-oriented culture.

· Great communicator, highly organized and computer savvy.

· Open to working occasional overtime.

· Ability of identify problems, resolve, and communicate problems in a constructive and positive manner.
