    **This is a PART-TIME ONSITE 1099 contract role payable at $27 per hour**

    Network Engineer - part-time night shift 12 hours per week.

    We are looking for a Network Engineer to provide smart hands and eyes support to implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and support all aspects of the network infrastructure on our customer’s site.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Monitor and maintain the existing network including replacing failed hardware as needed.
    • Configure and install replacement hardware using a template (mostly Cisco switches).
    • Monitor, update, and resolve daily tickets in a customer ticketing system (Service Now).
    • Perform moves, adds, and changes.
    • Assist project team with the completion of various ongoing project tasks.
    • Performing Hands and Feet support for the Remote Network Management team.

    Education & Experience

    • Good knowledge of IT and IT operations.
    • Experience in installing and removing network devices.
    • Certification in A+, Network +, CCT would be beneficial.
    • Experience with ticketing systems, particularly Service Now.
    • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing / automotive would be advantageous, but not mandatory.

    • Routine administrative skills.
    • Able to meet the physical requirements of the usual and customary methods of performing the job functions, including a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; lifting up to 50 pounds.

    Shift:

    FRI: 10PM-10AM – 12 hours per week

    Pay: $27 per hour

    Possibility of occasional travel between two campuses approximately 15 minutes apart.
