    Job Description

    Our Client is one of top Fortune 500 transport companies in North America. They are searching for an experienced Flatbed/Heavy Haul Sales Executive. You will be responsible for finding clients and understanding their supply chain needs to create solutions using an extensive non-asset-based flatbed portfolio. In addition, you will be responsible for building relationships and providing excellent customer service.     • Utilize your skills and knowledge to understand your customers/prospects, identify opportunities, retain business, and close new opportunities.
    • Find, establish, and build new and existing customer relationships through a consultative sales approach.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with various support groups within the organization.
    • Communicate and create corporate standard operating procedures for industry nuances and service expectations.
    • Collaborate with account, legal and operation teams to develop plans, train individuals and set goals to meet and manage expectations.
    • Utilize the sales management software to convey customer strategy, initiatives, and initiatives.
    • Read, analyze, and interpret general business data, KPI's, and reports.
    • Help with the implementation and constant use of the Customer Value Delivery process.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Successful track record in flatbed transportation sales.
    • Ability to understand and apply sales concepts and processes to daily responsibilities and meet budget expectations.
    • Ability to simultaneously make cold calls and manage a portfolio of business.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong CRM skills.
    • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Prior experience writing reports and business correspondence.
    • Ability to handle conflict and provide insightful resolution with the mindset to prevent future issues.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work outside of business hours as required.
    • Ability to travel as required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field experience.
