LIMS knowledge would move them to the front of the line.  Key Responsibilities include:Forecasting prospects for specific context and how that prediction should inform engagement strategies between Philanthropy and the prospects. Test those forecasting methods with statistical or mathematical theoriesPerform exploratory and explanatory data analyses, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data, identify patterns and correlations among various data points and discover new insight using data visualization tools and graphics analysis.Opportunity detections using proven statistical methods and modeling – helping our fundraisers cultivate potential prospects in advance and identifying the components that might make the fundraisers successful.Develop statistically proven machine learning models and algorithms that will help enhance our understandings of mechanics through which various elements that constitute the philanthropy space results in its success (or not)Build algorithms by identifying and performing validation methods to predict future data trends, sentiment forecast, gratitude.Analyze and interpret world news / financial news / external data sources to extract giving relevance against all prospectsIntegrate multiple systems (internally and externally) and perform analytics on large data sets across the datasets (e.g. CRM, EPIC, Peoplesoft HR, Peoplesoft Finance) Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field with competencies in data science, data analysis, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.5+ years of experience with data analytics.Applicable experience developing and successfully implementing statistical models for data mining, predictive gratitude modeling, clustering, classification, decision tree models, neural networks.3+ years of experience with data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Spotfile, QlikView) required.Excellent understanding of relational and multi-dimensional database structures and schemas and reporting architectures.Advanced experience designing, maintaining, and implementing aggregate OLAP data marts and cubes.Demonstrated proficiency with information systems such as Blackbaud CRM, AllScripts, EPIC, SalesForce, Peoplesoft HR, Peoplesoft EPR Preferred Education/Experience :Master’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, informatics, machine learning, computer sciences preferredExperience tracking, data analysis, or related development field experience or a combination of institutional development experience is highly desirable, preferably within an academic, medical or major research institution.3+ years of programming skills such as Python, .NET, or Java and data base foundations, preferred. Master level proficiency in SQLPlease read:At this time, to be considered for the position you need to be US Citizen or Permanent Resident ONLY.
