Responsibilities

• Fabricate ornamental iron products, including gates, railings, and custom designs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Utilize various tools and equipment, such as welders, grinders, and saws, to shape and assemble iron components.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to discuss project specifications and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist with the installation of finished products as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an ornamental iron fabricator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in metalworking.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Salary info:

$28 - $33 / hr
