    Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Wenatchee, Washington

    About the Position

    An established, physician-led regional healthcare system in Central Washington is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing Orthopedic Surgery team. This is an outstanding opportunity for both experienced providers and new graduates who are looking to receive mentorship while building a rewarding career in orthopedic surgery.

    Position Highlights:

    • Full-time position
    • Four 10-hour shifts per week, including evening coverage
    • New graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Combination of outpatient clinic responsibilities and surgical first assist
    • Shared orthopedic department call rotation
    • Collaborative practice alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers
    • State-of-the-art facilities with access to advanced imaging, surgical technology, and comprehensive specialty support

    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions
    • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations
    • Order and interpret diagnostic studies
    • Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and perform office procedures within scope of practice
    • Provide surgical first assist in the operating room
    • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and postoperative care
    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation services, and other specialists to coordinate patient care
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, community outreach, and departmental activities
    • Maintain current BLS certification and other required credentials

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Annual salary: approximately $142,000 – $172,000, based on experience
