A busy orthodontic practice in Newark, DE, is seeking a certified Orthodontic Assistant with Delaware Radiology Certification. You'll work alongside the Orthodontist, assist with clinical procedures, and support patients throughout their treatment—while using advanced technology in a supportive, team-driven environment. Compensation & Benefits • Hourly Rate: $18 - $27/hour based on experience • Health, vision, and supplemental insurance options • Signing bonus • Dental care benefit • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off • Continuing education and career growth support Responsibilities: • Prepare for patient appointments and ensure treatment areas are ready • Sterilize and disinfect instruments • Take diagnostic records and perform iTero scans • Assist the Orthodontist during orthodontic procedures • Independently carry out prescribed treatments • Educate patients about their treatment plans and progress • Foster strong patient relationships built on trust and communication • Facilitate communication between the Orthodontist and patients • Travel to additional locations as needed Qualifications: • DE Radiology Certification required • Minimum 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience (required) • Strong chairside manners and excellent customer service skills • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and solve problems creatively • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Compensation: $18 - $27 hourly
