About the Role:

Join Laguna Palms Orthodontics as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in creating beautiful smiles. We are looking for a passionate individual to support our orthodontic team and provide exceptional patient care in our Elk Grove, CA office.

Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow.

Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for patient treatments.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of orthodontic appliances.

Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.

Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient follow-ups.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.

Stay updated on the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.

Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in an orthodontic setting.

Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Current CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
