Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant Dental Kidds – Blaine & Coon Rapids, MN Pay: $30 - $35 per hour Job Type: Full-time Dental Kidds is a growing pediatric orthodontic practice with locations in Blaine and Coon Rapids. Our offices are designed just for kids—bright, welcoming, and focused on creating a fun, comfortable experience. We’re passionate about helping children build confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles. We are seeking a Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Schedule: Mon-Thurs: • 7:00-1:00 • 11:30-5:30 • 7:00/7:30-5:30 Fridays: 7:00-2:00 • One Saturday per month: 7:30-1:30 Responsibilities: • Assist the orthodontist with procedures and patient care • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments • Take impressions, digital scans, and radiographs • Educate patients and parents on orthodontic care and oral hygiene • Maintain accurate patient records and charting • Ensure a positive and comfortable patient experience • Follow all infection control and safety protocols Qualifications: • An Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required • Must possess a current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials • Proficiency in taking dental impressions and X-rays • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work well in a team environment • Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care • Basic computer skills and knowledge of dental software Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
