    About the Study

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a licensed Orthopedic Surgeon to participate on a part-time basis in an orthopedic research study. The surgeon will support clinical oversight, patient evaluation, protocol adherence, and research-related activities in collaboration with the study team.

    This role is ideal for a practicing orthopedic surgeon interested in academic research, clinical trials, or contributing expertise to evidence-based medicine without a full-time commitment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Serve as a clinical investigator or sub-investigator for the orthopedic research study

    Perform orthopedic evaluations and assessments per study protocol

    Review imaging, surgical outcomes, and patient progress as required

    Ensure compliance with study protocols, IRB requirements, and regulatory standards

    Collaborate with research coordinators and study staff

    Assist with data interpretation and clinical insights related to orthopedic outcomes

    Participate in investigator meetings as needed

    Required Qualifications

    MD or DO with completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency

    Active, unrestricted medical license in [state]

    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

    Experience in clinical research or clinical trials preferred (not required)

    Strong attention to protocol adherence and documentation

    Ability to work collaboratively with research teams

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator
