WE ARE SEEKING REMOTE LICENSED INSURANCE UNDERWRITERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM. YOU WILL OBTAIN TRAINING AND PROPERTY AND CASUALTY LICENSING SPONSORSHIP IF NEW TO THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EXPANDING THE COMPANY’S CLIENT BASE BY FIELDING INBOUND PHONE, WEB, AND CHAT REQUESTS FOR INSURANCE QUOTES AND HELPING CONSUMERS MAKE INFORMED POLICY COVERAGE DECISIONS.

Osprey supports the insurance needs of both consumers and businesses. The consumer side underwrites automobile, homeowners, renters, and umbrella policies for our partners. Our business client industry verticals include construction, retail, hospitality, real estate, and transportation.

** THIS IS A REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSITION, CONTRACT WORK TOWARDS PERMANENT POSITION. POTENTIAL FOR PART-TIME POSITIONS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. **

DESIRABLE CANDIDATES WILL HAVE PRIOR INSURANCE OR NON-INSURANCE EXPERIENCE IN THESE INDUSTRIES.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PRESENT AND NEGOTIATE INSURANCE APPLICATION TO CARRIER PARTNER UNDERWRITERS FOR NEW AND EXISTING CLIENTS

• RESOLVE CLIENT INQUIRIES AND COMPLAINTS

• EXPAND BUSINESS REACH THROUGH NETWORKING WITH PROSPECTIVE INSURERS

• COMPLY WITH INSURANCE STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS

• TRACK AND IDENTIFY AREAS OF WORKFLOW IMPROVEMENT

• ABILITY TO BUILD RAPPORT WITH CLIENTS

• STRONG NEGOTIATION SKILLS

• EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE AND MULTI-TASK

• BACHELOR’S DEGREE
