Job Description

You will be part of our Cloud Native and DevSecOps practice and will be primarily working on building enterprise cloud native container solutions that involve Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker and the surrounding K8s ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and hardening docker containers for deployment into highly secure environments. You will be working with STIG’s images and follow software security and compliance requirements to ensure a highly secure and compliant work product. You will work with broader members of the DevSecOps team to integrate secure hardened containers into the pipelines to ensure seamless creation and promotion of throughout. You will perform thorough CVE analysis and create mitigation techniques to fix CVEs within the container images. You will be required to provide feedback and work with stakeholders to improve the overall experience for creating, hardening and publishing containers into the secure repository.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise working with kubernetes and container technologies.
• Experienced in developing containerized applications using docker and deploying into Kubernetes. Strong understanding and working knowledge of deployment models for Kubernetes. 
• Experience with container security solution implementations, CVE vulnerability testing and analysis for container workloads. 
• Knowledge of Twistlock, Aqua or other container security tools is required. 
• Prior experience with hardening containers (for open source or proprietary tools) would be great. 
• Having prior experience building DoD Hardened containers is a big plus. 
• Advanced experience in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Argo CD,  or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience with manual and automated security administration, remediation, and hardening (STIG reviews, group policy and permissions, system modifications based on vulnerability scans, audits, and mitigations, patch management, etc.)
• Knowledge of Istio and service mesh concepts is required.
