You will be responsible for crafting media messages, press releases, and a media campaign.

The Public Relations Assistant role assists with clients, workloads, and other public relations responsibilities. This is a full-time position. The Public Relations Assistant reports directly to an assigned Account Strategist.

Job Duties Include:

• Media Monitoring
• Daily News monitoring and reporting to the team
• Journo Request searches
• Database searches and monitoring
• Any other duties assigned by your account strategist
• Potential to manage clients

Qualifications:

• Strong project management skills

• Confidence in working directly with clients

• Comfortability and confidence in managing client expectations

• Comfortable working in a team setting

• Management skills to manage multiple duties/task

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Writing experience

Education, Experience, and Other Qualities Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Political Science, Communications, or Public Relations a Plus
• One year of experience as a journalist, writer, publicist, or editor preferred (Educational experience accepted)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadline pressure
