    Job Description

    Leading Freight Forwarder is seeking a Customer Service Lead for their Domestic Department in Los Angeles, CA! The ideal candidate will have some prior experience with logistics, freight forwarding, or domestic transportation. This is a full time opportunity with a world-renowned forwarder with opportunities for growth!

    Responsibilities to include:

    • Assist with tracking, tracing, and routing domestic freight
    • Arrange bookings via air transport
    • Prepare billing tasks for the accounting department
    • Provide updates on shipment status and delays to clients upon request
    • Update shipment data within the computer systems
    • Determine best freight forwarding routes based on geography

    Qualifications to include:

    • Air Freight Experience
    • Basic Computer Skills (E-mail, Web Browsing, MS Office Suite)
    • Excellent Customer Service Skills via phone and email
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule depending on the season, including weekend and holiday coverage based on operational needs
    • Eager to work 40-50 hours weekly
    • Must be able to read, write and clearly communicate with poise and confidence in English over the phone and in person with customers, vendors and staff
