Outdoor Voices is looking for a Production Associate to support the success of OV's sourcing strategies. Reporting to the Head of Production, you will own the daily production activities that support OV's strategic direction and business objectives. You will also ensure there is a streamlined flow of information to cross-functional stakeholders as you work to provide on time delivery for best-in-class products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage WIP updates and daily communication with company vendor base
- Analyze and forecast demand, inventory and sell through based on business selling reports
- Monitor cost initiatives and objectives in collaboration with Head of Production
- Analyze and report on weekly and monthly progress to established company metrics
- Create and maintain QA tracking process of all QC reports and testing results
- Partner with Supply Chain on SKU management, purchase orders and HTS codes
- Work with production, planning, raw materials, logistics and vendor base on product flow resulting in quicker turn times
- Maintain communication tools to effectively and accurately flow information to cross- functional teams, such as PO updates, surcharges, and liability platforms
- Create and issue POs and maintain data integrity in supporting systems (backbone/netsuite)
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in production and operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of garment construction and ability to read tech packs
- Experience in domestic and overseas production
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, GSuite, and preferably an ERP/PLM system
- Detail oriented with strong analytical, numerical skills
- Superior communication (both written and verbal), and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus
