Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients using evidence-based physical therapy techniques
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices
- Administer physical agents and modalities such as dry needling, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, etc.
- Educate patients and families on home care and injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for optimal outcomes
- Document patient progress in electronic medical records
- Supervise PTAs and techs when applicable
Requirements:
- Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program (Master's or Doctorate)
- Active Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) in Texas
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a diverse outpatient caseload
