    Job Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and home health environments. You will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving their mobility and overall physical function. Your expertise in geriatrics, discharge planning, and various therapeutic techniques will be essential in delivering effective rehabilitation services.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and needs.
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
    • Provide hands-on therapy using techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physical therapy modalities.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including discharge planning.
    • Educate patients and their families about exercises, home health strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic policies.
    • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

    Requirements

    • 3 Years of PT experience required, neuro experience preferred.
    • 1st time travelers accepted WITH 3 years of PT experience.
    • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
    • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to physical therapy.
    • Experience in inpatient settings or geriatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Familiarity with discharge planning processes is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism.

    Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

    Charting System: EPIC Required

    Will this traveler need to float between like units? No
