  • Responsibilities

    Outpatient therapists provide clinical support and intervention to children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups with identified mental health or substance abuse symptoms/diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific individual mental health needs of the identified individual, couple, or family receiving the service. This service can be provided in an office or other approved community setting. Outpatient therapy includes psychoeducational activities and psychotherapeutic interventions designed to assist the individual, couple, or family with long and short-term goal identification, reduction of symptoms, and progress through their individual recovery process. Services are provided with person centered and family centered approaches and are delivered in a comprehensive integrative manner through intensive, time-limited, and goal driven interventions. We are currently seeking candidates interested in full time outpatient therapy in a school setting, not to exceed 3 days per week in a school. Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: • To provide therapeutic, person-centered, recovery-based interventions to the individual, couple, or family receiving services for the purpose of fostering and enhancing an individual’s optimal functioning and interactions in all aspects of their “Everyday Life.” • To continually assess client needs, availability of service, and appropriateness of services needed. • To work cooperatively and collaboratively with treatment team members (physicians, legal support, educational team, case management, insurance providers, etc.) and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the person-centered treatment plan. • To provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery, both billable and nonbillable, including diagnosis, initial assessment, treatment goals, progress notes, service summaries by request, and billing and to submit said documentation as specified by payer and CMS standards within 24 hours of occurrence. • To Facilitate individual, family, couples, and group counseling utilizing an array of treatment modalities. • To Participate in monthly supervision as needed and monthly staff meetings. To Participate in company quality management and compliance initiatives, including but not limited to: • Peer reviews • Audit response/correction • Complete initial training and complete all required training based on requirements set forth by state and federal law, licensing bodies, and payors. • Track and complete authorizations for treatment as required by payors. • Provide night availability 2 nights per week (one until 6:00 pm and one until 7:00 pm) or one night and one weekend day per week. • Submit weekly billing sheets with complete and accurate information to ensure timely insurance filing and payment to clinician. • Perform other related duties as required or assigned. Services must only be provided in the specific ICS site approved by insuring bodies and outlined in agency and individual contracts. Qualifications: • A licensable degree in a mental health field such as social work, psychology, or counseling. • Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania to include LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW, and PsyD is preferred. • 2 years of experience supporting individuals in a mental health/clinical capacity (post master’s preferred). • Working knowledge of DSM-5R and ICD 11. • Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Windows, MS Office and Apple iOS. • Current FBI and PA State child abuse and criminal background check clearances. • Workman’s Compensation Policy (sub-contractors only) • Malpractice Insurance (required for sub-contractors) • Prior experience in a school setting considered Compensation: $55,000 - $68,000
