Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled licensed therapist to provide independent mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns using evidence-based approaches. In addition, the therapist will also assist with clinical research requiring psychotherapeutic interventions (no additional specialized training needed, as we will provide any necessary training for each research protocol). This position requires independent licensure in California, allowing for autonomous clinical practice without supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to clients of diverse backgrounds (in-person and via telehealth)
Assist in clinical research initiatives relating to psychological treatments; we will provide any necessary training for any required psychotherapeutic protocols
Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and insurance standards.
Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs.
Manage an independent caseload and maintain professional boundaries.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community resources when necessary.
Qualifications:
Licensed Therapist (Master’s) or Psychologist (doctoral-level), such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT
Applicants must have the necessary licensure to practice independently in CA
Active and unrestricted state license
Minimum 2 years of related experience/education
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery principles, and community-based psychiatry
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team environment
Salary Range: $90-$150K
