About the Role

Principles Recovery Center is growing, and we are seeking a warm, professional, and community-minded Outreach Specialist to expand awareness of our substance use and mental health treatment programs across Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. This role is ideal for someone energized by building authentic professional relationships, confident representing clinical programming, and motivated by connecting individuals and families to meaningful recovery support.

As the face of PRC within your territory, you will combine relationship-building, strategic outreach, and partnership development to strengthen our presence among therapists, treatment providers, hospitals, detox facilities, medical professionals, and community organizations serving individuals in recovery.

What You'll Do

Build Community Partnerships

• Develop and maintain relationships with therapists, treatment centers, hospitals, detox programs, medical providers, and community partners within a territory.
• Expand PRC's referral network by identifying new partnership opportunities and community touchpoints.
• Serve as a trusted resource for professionals seeking appropriate levels of care for individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges.

Promote PRC Programs with Confidence

• Represent PRC with professionalism and clarity in outreach visits, meetings, and presentations.
• Educate referral partners on levels of care, treatment philosophy, admissions processes, and program differentiation.
• Participate in networking events, professional meetings, conferences, and CEU opportunities.

Strengthen Referral Flow & Admissions Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Admissions to ensure seamless transitions from referral to intake.
• Maintain consistent communication with referral partners and provide timely updates when appropriate.
• Support long-term relationship development through reliability, responsiveness, and follow-through.

Manage Your Territory with Intention

• Maintain accurate outreach documentation and activity tracking within the CRM.
• Manage referral pipelines and assist in connecting individuals to alternative resources when PRC is not the appropriate fit.
• Identify market trends, referral needs, and growth opportunities aligned with PRC's strategic goals.
• Represent the PRC brand through professionalism, integrity, and recovery-centered values.

Support Community Engagement

• Assist in planning and executing PRC-hosted events, alumni gatherings, and networking opportunities.
• Identify ways PRC can contribute meaningfully to the local recovery and mental health community.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in outreach, business development, admissions, healthcare, or behavioral health.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• High level of organization and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass DCF and AHCA Level-2 background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English & Spanish).

• Familiarity with South Florida substance use and mental health referral networks.

• Experience working within PHP, IOP, or outpatient treatment environments.
