    Outside, Inc./Lake Tahoe Television (LTTV) seeks an individual to join our fast-paced sales department in the Inside Sales, Promotions and Social Media role. This position provides administrative support to the sales functions of the station and assists with the development and implementation of sponsorship packages. This position will also assist in developing social media assets, content and creative in order to establish the brand in the global marketplace. THIS ROLE IS BASED IN LAKE TAHOE, CA

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    • Report weekly sales revenue contracts, track contract commitments and internally update inventory, production, revenue and CRM touch plans.

    • Assist in maintaining and servicing all accounts with effective follow-up, consistent with LTTV protocols; work with clients on fulfillment of contract obligations

    • Assist Station Manager with negotiating telecast contracts, developing ad creative and providing times played reports, help with collections and aging issues

    • Creation, trafficking and maintenance of shows, segments, commercials, promos and content driven segments for local and national programming

    • Watch and Win Promotions: Responsible for assisting on-going watch and win promotional endeavors as they support sales and Nielsen ratings for LTTV.

    • Participate in a daily morning show approximately once a week (if needed) for live show on-camera reporting and hosting; Manage or book interviews for LTTV programs

    • Write and star in Sportsline (weekly); Act as a liaison to distribute current local news/press releases and event information from the resorts/communities to be used on air or to attend and report on these events

    • Assist with LTTV's Facebook posts and social media activities. Ensure social platforms are regularly updated on the web page, Facebook, Twitter and other Social Networking outlets as well as oversee the communications to the local site from page visitors

    • Fulfill all needs for creative and content marketing assets, including, but not limited to: digital banner ads, landing pages, social media, Emails, campaigns, web/blog stories, collateral, templates, and more.

    • Partner with the Sales team on various other elements of fulfilling on overall marketing strategy and execution

    • Responsible for assisting in building the network's brand as well as coordinating all efforts involved in the content and creative aspects of making the brand come to life. This position will work with contracted agencies, vendors and other partners (internal and external) to ensure the brand's voice, guidelines and all aspects of the brand ladder back up to clearly defined brand guidelines.

    • Manage office supply budget;

    • Perform additional related duties as assigned

      REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Management – Employee is responsible within the budgetary constraints, of ensuring the office supplies are kept at proper levels. Also responsible as the reporter / and scheduling of guests of the morning show on designated days. Responsible also for the “look” of LTTV in terms of graphics.

    • Confidentiality - Through working closely with Station Manager, employee must keep all employee matters or other station matters confidential.

    • Decision Making – Decisions as they relate to the position shall be in concert with the Station Manager.

    • Contacts (internal and external) – Employee will maintain a professional appearance to outside contacts as well as co-workers.

    • Equipment / Machines Used – Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Suite as well as operate other office machines such as the fax, copier, phone system.

    • Team Player- Being part of a team including the ability to assist other staff members on non-related sales endeavors when asked by their supervisor.

      QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field

    • 2-4 years of sales experience

    • Graphic design experience preferred

    • Ability to juggle various projects at once

    • Experience with Microsoft Office products

    • Ability to use the machines needed to direct the morning show

    • Skills to coordinate with resort/town event planners to promote LTTV

    • Nevada Jobs: Employees can expect to be paid an hourly rate of $18.00 + Commission. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more. The salary  range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors
