OCL requires an experienced, dynamic (when necessary), and skilled litigation attorney who can successfully and competently handle a multifaceted and various caseload, be capable of getting the job done autonomously and collaboratively, deal with groundbreaking legal quandaries, display enthusiasm for brilliance, personal and team growth, and deliver the highest quality of service and timely results for patrons. The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience in civil litigation in a noteworthy organization. Ideal Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualities: • Be punctual and dependable with a robust commitment to ethics, decency, and hard work • The skill and malleability to deliver winning results in a continually expanding firm Responsibilities: • Develop a legal strategy based on each client's goals, the facts of the case, and applicable law • Conduct client meetings to recommend strategies on legal matters, analyze all available options, and diligently work to determine the absolute best course of action • Meet or exceed key performance indicators designed for the position • Distribute tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their progress while remaining fully responsible for the final result and meeting all internal and external deadlines • Maintain an accurate record of the time and value you give clients so you can analyze where your successes are, as well as establish what you could do better in the future • Attend court hearings, depositions, or other legal processes, do legal research, and help other attorneys with their cases Qualifications: • The candidate must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • To qualify, candidates need to have successfully passed the bar exam and maintain good standing with the Alabama Bar Association • An essential requirement is possessing civil litigation experience • Strong writing and communication skills are a must • A positive and motivating attitude is necessary to uphold or elevate the standard of conduct and performance within the firm • Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of practicing as an attorney Compensation: $130,000 - $185,000+ Based On Experience
