Hot & Cold Supply is a pipe, valve, fitting, and plumbing supplies wholesaler, located in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake. We have been in the plumbing wholesale industry for over 30 years and are a Distributor for various OEM Manufacturers.

Job Description:

The Outside Plumbing Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships via in-person sales calls, phone, and email daily. They will provide information to customers about product, price, and availability, and will work with an Inside Plumbing Sales Representative to accomplish these. The overall goal for this position is to maintain and increase current plumbing product sales volume and meet annual goals for revenue and profit.

Responsibilities:

· High volume of customer interaction via in-person sales meetings, email, and phone

· Develops and maintains customer relationships

· Focus on developing and expanding new accounts

· Maintains sales accounts and submits sales orders in an organized, efficient and effective manner

· Research potential customers via prospecting activities

· Works with departments across the organization (customer service, shipping, accounting)

· Maintains current job and industry knowledge pertaining to assigned sales accounts

· Research and bid commercial plumbing contracts & jobs

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 3+ years Inside Plumbing Sales experience

· 3+ years Outside Plumbing Sales experience

· Previous successful solution and suggestive selling experience

· Aggressive, energetic self-starter and independent worker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

· Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers

· Excellent call handling skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

· Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications

· Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Outlook

· Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
