    OUTSIDE SALES

    We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our customer base and strengthen relationships within assigned territories. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, meeting with clients face‑to‑face, and delivering solutions that support customer needs and company goals.

    Duties and Responsibilities This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned:

    Identify and establish contact with potential customers

    Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers

    Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers

    Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers

    Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

    Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic

    Generate and submit sales reports to management

    SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

    Ability to warm up and develop instant rapport with potential customers

    Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

    Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required

    Minimum of two years’ sales experience (counter sales, inside sales or outside sales) required

    Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, electrical contractors, and the public

    Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in electrical products would be considered an asset, including - lighting, wiring devices, distribution, and motor control
