  • Responsibilities

    Our client is seeking a driven, results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to expand their commercial and industrial generator inspection services business. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on developing new B2B relationships, generating leads, and closing service-based opportunities with facility managers, industrial operators, and commercial property teams. Candidates with generator industry experience or a background selling industrial/commercial equipment and service programs are strongly encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for generator inspections, maintenance agreements, and related service offerings

    • Develop and maintain relationships with facility managers, property management groups, industrial operators, commercial contractors, and other key decision-makers

    • Conduct onsite visits to assess customer needs, gather technical information, and recommend service solutions

    • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, including prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and lead follow-up

    • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and service agreements in coordination with internal teams

    • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and reporting

    • Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients

    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to grow brand presence

    • Provide market insights and feedback to support strategic decisions and sales initiatives

    Requirements:

    • 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience; industrial or commercial equipment service sales preferred

    • Experience selling generator services, HVAC, electrical services, or other mechanical/equipment-based solutions is highly desirable

    • Proven track record of prospecting, cold outreach, and new business development (hunter mindset)

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term relationships

    • Ability to read, understand, and communicate basic technical information related to equipment inspections and service programs

    • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable operating independently

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
