    Position Overview

    The Outside Sales Rep will manage a multi-state territory in the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic, focusing on developing new business and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel to meet clients face-to-face, conduct product demos, and close deals. Candidates with a strong background in marine equipment, boating culture, or related industries are encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate new business opportunities within the assigned region.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
    • Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
    • Assess customer needs and provide tailored product solutions.
    • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts.
    • Track sales activity and maintain customer records using CRM software.
    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
    • Stay informed on product updates, market trends, and competitor activity.
    • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • Proven outside sales experience (marine or related industries preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of boats, marine equipment, and boating terminology.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic.
