    Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Construction - Base Salary to 100k/year - Nashville, TN

    • Our client is a multinational access, scaffolding, and forming/shoring partner to industrial, commercial, and infrastructure customers. With more than 340 locations across 25 countries, they help contractors complete projects safer, faster, and more efficiently through engineered access and work platform solutions. Their teams support both maintenance and new construction projects by delivering systems that improve productivity and jobsite safety.
    • They are adding an Outside Sales Representative for the Nashville market focused on commercial construction projects. This role is built for a true outside salesperson who enjoys being in the field, meeting customers on job sites, and helping them solve complex access challenges. Rather than selling a single product, the Outside Sales Representative will evaluate the jobsite, visualize the system needed, and recommend the right combination of modular access solutions to safely support the work being performed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and execute a territory prospecting strategy targeting general contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners, and construction managers.
    • Conduct jobsite visits to understand scope, site constraints, and safety considerations before recommending solutions.
    • Translate construction drawings, project plans, and site conditions into practical access and work platform solutions.
    • Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to develop equipment lists, labor assumptions, logistics plans, and pricing.
    • Prepare proposals and quotations using internal pricing tools and negotiate projects through award.
    • Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships across commercial construction accounts.
    • Identify additional opportunities within active projects and expand utilization of the company’s broader access solutions portfolio.
    • Support project kickoff meetings and remain engaged through project execution to ensure customer success.
    • Track pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and customer interactions within CRM and report results to leadership.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
    • Experience selling technical products or solutions into the construction industry.
    • Ability to evaluate jobsites, interpret drawings or schematics, and translate project requirements into workable solutions.
    • Comfortable working directly with contractors, visiting jobsites, and aligning with the customer’s schedule.
    • Background selling into mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, construction technology, equipment, or other technical construction solutions is highly desirable.
    • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and strong organizational skills for managing pipeline activity.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 75k - 100k/year range plus uncapped commission
