Outside Sales Representative - Custom Window Coverings
Outside Sales (Window Treatments) in Raleigh, NC Responsibilities include showcasing and selling window coverings, with travel to clients' homes and business locations in the Triangle area. • Establishing connections, measuring windows, demonstrating products, offering recommendations, assisting with product selection, and creating proposals • Utilize multiple platforms for quoting, complete digital proposals using CRM, completely paperless process • Monday-Friday schedule with bi-monthly Saturday showroom coverage (10 am - 3 pm) • Warm leads provided, no cold calling required • Pre-qualified incoming leads and managed schedule Base salary with generous tiered commission and bonus potential. Average sale of $4,000 - $6,000 Responsibilities: • Conduct 1 to 4 sales appointments daily • Provide exceptional customer service and expert design advice, including measuring windows accurately for custom solutions. • Respond promptly to emails and phone calls • Stay updated on custom window treatment trends and product changes • Self-report individual performance metrics, contribute to weekly team meetings, and engage in periodic training sessions. • Travel to client homes and business locations in the Triangle area • Self-generate additional leads beyond what the company provides Qualifications: • The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in residential sales within a related industry, but not required. • A clean driving record and personal record. • A large enough vehicle for a step ladder and sample books is required. • Excellent written communication skills • Strong mathematical abilities • The ability to climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs • Being at ease working on a ladder up to 6 feet high • Experience with window coverings or general construction is a plus • A company laptop is provided; however, a working cell phone is a requirement Compensation: $85,000 - $150,000+ yearly
