    About the Role

    Are you a "hunter" who loves the hospitality industry but is looking for a role with a strong environmental mission? Filta is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow our Central Texas territory. You will be responsible for finding new business, upselling our current clients, and ensuring our existing customer base is receiving world-class service.

    This is a field-based role requiring daily travel along the I-35 corridor. You will be based in the North Austin area (Round Rock/Georgetown/Pflugerville) for easy access to our warehouse and the northern markets.

    What You’ll Do

    Drive New Growth: Identify and close new B2B accounts across all commercial kitchens (restaurants, hospitals, universities, and corporate cafeterias).

    Relationship Management: Inherit and maintain an existing customer base. You’ll perform regular "pulse checks" to ensure satisfaction, ask for referrals, and identify opportunities for upselling.

    Site Evaluations: Conduct on-site kitchen evaluations and demonstrations to show prospects how our micro-filtration and waste oil solutions save them money.

    Operational Bridge: Work closely with our Operations Manager. If a customer has a concern, you’ll ensure it’s communicated and follow up to ensure it is resolved.

    Data Integrity: Use our proprietary Symphony CRM to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress (we provide full training).

    Compensation & Benefits

    Base Salary: $40,000 per year.

    Aggressive Commission (Cliff Strategy): * 15% commission on paid sales for your first 6 months.

    2% lifetime residual commission for the life of the account thereafter (includes new sales and upsales).

    Travel Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursed at the IRS Standard Rate (72.5 cents per mile).

    Health Insurance: 50% employer-covered health plan (available after a 6-month trial period).

    Tools: Company-provided cellphone and service plan.

    Time Off: Paid Time Off (PTO) included.

    Requirements

    Experience: 2+ years of outside sales experience (B2B preferred).

    Territory Knowledge: Must be familiar with the Austin/Temple/Killeen/Waco geography.

    Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Must have a reliable vehicle capable of carrying marketing materials and small demo equipment.

    Communication: Ability to talk to anyone from a Head Chef to a Corporate Procurement Manager.

    Location: Must reside in the North Austin, Round Rock, or Georgetown area.
