    Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
    Location: Near St. Louis, MO (Remote within region)
    Territory: Midwest (MO + surrounding states)

    Overview

    We are partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturing company near St. Louis that specializes in custom-engineered metal components and profiles used across construction and building applications.

    This role is focused on developing new business by working directly with customers who require custom-designed parts and production capabilities. The position is ideal for someone who understands how to sell a manufacturing process, not just a standard product.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and building sectors
    • Develop relationships with contractors, fabricators, OEMs, and distributors
    • Engage customers to understand project requirements and present custom manufacturing solutions
    • Work closely with internal engineering and production teams to support design and feasibility discussions
    • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close new business
    • Manage territory travel to meet with prospective and existing customers
    • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer records
    • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

    What They’re Looking For

    • 3+ years of experience selling within a specialized metal manufacturing environment
    • Strong preference for candidates with experience in custom profile-based or process-driven sales
    • Proven ability to generate new business (hunter mindset)
    • Comfortable discussing technical requirements with customers and internal teams
    • Experience selling into construction, building products, or related industries
    • Ability to manage a multi-state territory with regular travel

    Compensation

    • Base salary: $60K – $220K+ (dependent on experience)
    • Uncapped commission structure
    • Full benefits package

    Additional Notes

    • This is a true new business role — not an account management position
    • Candidates should be located in Missouri or a neighboring state with the ability to travel into the region regularly
    • Internal engineering and technical support teams are in place to assist with custom project development
