Outside Sales Representative - Industrial Sales - Base Salary to 120k/year - Norfolk, VA

• They are adding an Outside Sales Representative for their Southeast shipyard market. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will sell the full product portfolio to shipyards from Virginia to Florida. The Outside Sales Representative will combine technical know-how with business development to deliver tailored proposals and coordinate safe, efficient project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute a territory plan for shipyards, primes, and marine contractors; generate and qualify bid opportunities.
  
• Meet on-site at piers, dry docks, and fabrication shops to scope access needs for hull, superstructure, and interiors; translate drawings/specs into solutions.
• Prepare proposals and labor-inclusive contracts; price within guidelines, negotiate terms, and close.
  
• Maintain disciplined pipeline, forecasting, and activity notes in CRM.
  
• Support job kickoffs and change-order capture; align with project controls for accurate, timely billing.
  
• Cross-sell the portfolio (scaffold, hoists, mast climbers, platforms, shoring) to increase utilization and margin per project.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of labor or contract sales experience in industrial services; shipyard/marine or heavy industrial market experience.
  
• CRM proficiency with consistent pipeline hygiene.
  
• Scaffold/access background preferred (field, estimating, or engineering exposure a plus).
  
• Ability to read drawings/specs and build labor/equipment estimates

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 120k/year plus commission
