Job Summary
Wesworth Electric is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow both our Service and New-Construction divisions. You’ll own your territory’s pipeline—generating leads, nurturing relationships with property managers, general contractors, and HOAs, and closing profitable deals. You’ll also ensure a smooth hand-off to our Operations team so every project and service call delivers a 5-Star experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
Prospect new clients through cold outreach, networking events, and visiting digital leads form our marketing department.
Qualify opportunities against revenue and margin targets.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Build and execute a territory sales plan to hit monthly and quarterly targets.
Prepare and present accurate, margin-focused estimates for electrical service and construction work.
Client Relationship Management
Develop rapport with decision-makers (property managers, GCs, developers, HOAs).
Maintain regular follow-up to drive renewals and upsells.
Handoff & Collaboration
Capture complete scope details and customer expectations in our CRM
Coordinate smoothly with Operations Director and Service/Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery.
Reporting & Analysis
Log all activity, leads, and proposals in the CRM.
Track personal KPIs: qualified leads generated, conversion rate, and sales revenue.
Provide weekly sales forecasts and win/loss analyses
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
5+ years of B2B outside sales experience (electrical contracting or construction a plus)
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and customer-service skills
Self-starter with strong time-management and organizational abilities
Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
