About the Role:
Garage Living is a leading provider of custom garage makeovers, helping homeowners transform ordinary spaces into functional, stylish extensions of the home. We are seeking a motivated and confident Outside Sales Representative for Charlotte and points south, to drive residential sales through direct outreach, in-person engagement, and territory-based prospecting. Key Responsibilities:
● Present Garage Living’s premium products and services to homeowners during face-to-face meetings
● Conduct in-home consultations and needs assessments, educating clients on available options
● Prospect local businesses and create relationships to generate repeat business
● Manage sales pipeline and follow up on leads to close deals and meet monthly targets
● Represent the Garage Living brand with professionalism and integrity at all times
● Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
● Use CRM systems to track leads, update customer interactions, and report sales performance
● Participate in ongoing training and contribute to team performance goals
Required Qualifications:
● 2 or more years of outside sales or in-person field sales experience
● Excellent communication, persuasion, and customer relationship skills
● Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities
● Familiarity with using tablets, computers, CRMs, and digital scheduling tools
● Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate homeowner availability
● Able to pass a background check and must have a reasonable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in home improvement, remodeling, or other high-ticket consumer services
● Background in residential sales, canvassing, or field marketing
● Leadership experience or desire to grow into a team leader role
Compensation and Benefits:
● Competitive base pay, plus uncapped commission (expected typical earnings $80,000 to $120,000 per year)
