Sales Representative — Roof Coatings
Location: Dallas, TX Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a driven Sales Representative with experience in commercial roof coatings to grow business throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth market. This role focuses on developing relationships with contractors, building owners, property managers, and consultants while promoting innovative coating solutions designed to improve energy efficiency, heat control, and asset protection.
This is an opportunity to represent advanced thermal-management technology integrated into building materials and coatings that deliver heat rejection, insulation performance, and fire resistance.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities in the commercial roofing market
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, and property owners
- Evaluate roofs and recommend coating solutions based on project needs
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
- Prepare proposals, estimates, and bid submissions
- Manage sales pipeline and maintain CRM activity
- Coordinate with technical/operations teams to support project execution
- Attend industry networking events and trade shows
- Meet or exceed sales targets
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales, coatings sales, or related construction products
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, Modified, Metal, etc.)
- Proven track record of generating and closing business
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Preferred
- Existing relationships in the Dallas roofing/construction market
- Experience selling technical or energy-efficient building products
- Ability to review plans/specifications
