    Job Summary

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Solar Area Sales

    Manager (Outside Sales) to join our team. The ideal candidate

    possesses a unique gift for quickly building rapport, establishing

    credibility, and actively listening to customer needs. With a fervent

    enthusiasm for solar, smart home, and eco-friendly solutions, you

    will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness to both home and

    business owners.

    Your primary responsibility will be to manage customer

    communications, expectations, and follow-up, ensuring a

    seamless experience throughout the sales process. You will

    execute against generated leads while also cultivating referral

    sources to expand our customer base. In addition to

    relationship-building skills, we are looking for individuals with a

    strong work ethic and a drive to meet and exceed sales goals. You

    should have a thirst for knowledge, eagerly seeking to learn new

    skills and deepen your understanding of our products and

    services.

    This position is a full-time, remotely based in Asheville NC area to

    build the sales territory. This will include some local travel.

    Reports to our Sr. Director of Sales.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and nurture relationships with customers, establishing trust and credibility.

    Analyze client energy usage and determine the financial return on investment for solar solutions.

    Generate project proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs and preferences.

    Actively manage sales pipelines using our Company CRM system (Smartsheet).

    Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.

    Dedicated work ethic focused on meeting and exceeding goals.

    Desire to learn new skills, build knowledge, and to be a part of an experienced team.

    Manage customer communications, expectations, and follow-up.

    Execute against generated leads, while also developing referral sources.

    Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services.

    Qualifications

    2 years of sales experience in solar or construction industry

    Experience using CRM systems

    Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
