    Job Description

    Outten & Golden LLP is accepting applications for a counsel level position in our Executives and Professionals Practice Group. The Executives and Professionals Practice Group encompasses Outten & Golden’s executive compensation and benefits practice. We represent employees, executives and professionals in connection with all types of employment- or service-related agreements. The practice group utilizes our team’s expertise in executive transactions, compensation, ERISA, international employment law, compensation-related tax issues, and dispute resolution to service clients in a wide array of industries across the globe.

    REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate has: minimum of 7 years of experience negotiating executive employment and separation agreements, partnership agreements, retention and change in control agreements, and other transactional documents. Very strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills a must and a commitment to representing individuals essential. Some knowledge of corporate structure and related tax in regard to compensation issues preferred. Candidates with some employment-related experience and a strong skill set in contracts and compensation (including those with entertainment industry, financial services, tax, or corporate background) will succeed in this role. Prior in-house counsel experience beneficial.
