  • Responsibilities

    Immediate Hire - Contract assignment for 2 people.  Duration:  up to 3 months

    IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST:  This position interacts with users of all levels within the organization and handles tech support for about 150 users both onsite and remotely connected. The Support Specialist will communicate IT issues and troubleshoot and resolve incidents along with notes and time spent in the IT ticket tracking system. This position must have a strong customer service focus and be able to interact with users of all skill levels. This position also interacts with technical support from external IT providers and from IT vendors.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Maintain desktops, laptops, including new deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning/recycling.
    • Setup new user accounts, set permissions and access, manage passwords and maintain Active Directory.
    • Maintain current specs and hardware and software inventories/licenses.
    • Handle majority of IT questions, requests, and incidents from internal users.
    • Provides support via phone, email, and face to face during standard business hours. 
    • Deploys and maintains all workstation computers and phones.
    • Installs and maintains software updates including managing licenses.
    • Understand, adhere to and reinforce compliance regulations and safety guidelines related to the responsibilities of this role.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory Administration, Windows 10, O365
    • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and DNS/DHCP
    • Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, problem solving skills
    • Experience with malware removal a plus.
