Our customer is seeking another IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to desktop and laptop users in this manufacturing environment.   Primarily a Windows OS environment. Support will include computer hardware and software, printing, installation, e-mail and business or manufacturing systems, as well as installation and maintenance of network equipment and configurations. 

Some additional duties are listed below:

· Maintain and monitor Company computer, network, and networked business equipment, including performance, security, updates and backup processes. Oversee, monitor and record the performance of network traffic and computer systems.

· Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, backup process and appropriate software.

· Conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.

· Develop training materials and procedures and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.

· Maintain vendor relationships, including tracking purchases and warrantees. Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or specialized technicians for service.

Requirements:

· Minimum of five years experience in a similar position is required.

· Experience with Windows administration.

· Experience with end point security.  

This new position will start as three days per week, but quickly ramp to Full time as the manufacturing environment comes on line.  This job is on the manufacturing floor and requires someone who can roll up their sleeves, wears jeans/khais and work boots.
