We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Over-the-Counter Parts Sales Representative to join our team. This position involves assisting walk-in customers, responding to email inquiries, text messages, and other forms of communication from customers seeking appliance parts. You will help customers by looking up parts diagrams, checking our in-stock inventory, and placing special orders when needed.
No prior appliance experience is required — we will provide full training!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist walk-in customers with appliance parts inquiries and purchases
Respond to customer inquiries via email, text, and phone in a timely and professional manner
Look up parts diagrams to identify correct components for customers’ needs
Check stock availability and place special orders as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales counter area
Provide friendly, helpful service to ensure a great customer experience
Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and keep accurate records
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts lookup systems
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple customer inquiries at once
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
