About the Role:
Green Mountain Feeds Inc is looking for a dependable and experienced Over the Road Delivery Driver to join our team in Bethel, VT. One-two overnights expected. Class A CDL and two years' experience required. EDL (Enhanced Driver's License) or passport required. Must have a clean driving record and be able to lift 50lbs. Pay based on experience. Responsibilities:
Operate commercial vehicles to transport and deliver feed products to customers across regional and long-haul routes
Safely load, secure, and unload freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs (ELD)
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Green Mountain Feeds professionally
Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or issues
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required and EDL or passport required
Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable OTR or commercial driving experience preferred
Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and DOT Hours of Service regulations
Ability to lift and handle heavy feed bags and bulk deliveries as needed
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules independently
Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to safety on every run
