Position Title: Overflow Secretary

Position Overview:
The Overflow Secretary position is based in our Tampa office. The Overflow Secretary provides flexible administrative and clerical support to various attorneys, legal assistants, and departments across the law office, particularly during high-volume periods or when coverage is needed due to absences, vacations, or special projects. This role ensures seamless workflow and consistent support to maintain efficiency and quality of service across the firm.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
· College Degree Preferred
· Prior experience as a legal secretary or administrative assistant in a law office is preferred
· Strong typing and computer skills (Word, Outlook, document management systems)
· Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in one of the following areas of law:
(Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Insurance Defense, Property Damage, Automobile Negligence)
· Attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical skills
· Open and organize new client files; maintain and update case files
· Strong writing and oral communication skills
· Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for attorneys
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
