We are specifically seeking mission-minded, college-age young adults to serve as our summer camp counselors. Our counselors must come to this 9 week commitment (May 29 - July 28) with a love of children, a comfortableness in the outdoors, a passion for their Christian faith, and a strong desire to share that faith with co-workers and campers. We train our staff for every other aspect of the job.

We begin with 3 weeks of staff training that will include group bonding, policies, procedures, emergency action plans, traits of young children/youth, first-aid/CPR cert., outdoor living skills, program execution training, and more.

Our counselors will work with a different co-counselor and group of campers each week. Duties include leading Bible study, facilitating games, group nurture, group management, etc. Counseling staff sleeps in the camper housing and provides around-the-clock supervision and support.

Work begins each Sunday at 10:00 am and we finish around 8 pm on Friday. We have every Saturday off with the exception of the first and last.

Room and board is provided, even on days off. Staff are required to remain on the property during the camp week and may depart during off-hours.

Applicants must commit to living drug, tobacco, and alcohol free during the entire 9 week commitment.

Summer stipends vary based on age and certifications. $1,100 to $1,700
