**Job Title: Overnight Security Officer - Elderly Community (Third Shift) **

**Job Responsibilities: **

- Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols of the community premises to ensure the safety and security of residents and property.

- Respond promptly to emergency situations, alarms, and incidents, following the community's protocols and procedures.

- Maintain a visible presence on-site to deter potential security threats and to reassure residents of their safety.

- Assist residents and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing information and assistance when needed.

- Document all incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches in detailed reports for management review.

- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions to the management.

- Uphold a high standard of confidentiality regarding community information and resident privacy.

**Qualifications: **

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.

- Previous experience in security or law enforcement, particularly in a residential or healthcare setting, is desirable.

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.

- Must be able to work the third shift, including weekends and holidays.

- Basic computer skills for report writing and communication.
