DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is seeking full-time Certified Veterinary Technicians to join our ICU team.

We are looking for experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technicians who want to utilize their license to its fullest potential. Join a team of experienced licensed Technicians and Veterinary Technician Specialists to support high-acuity patients in the ICU and manage advanced cases under the supervision of board-certified Criticalists.

Whether your credential is a CVT, LVT, or RVT we know you worked hard for your education and are excited to use it to support patients with top quality medicine. As part of the DoveLewis ICU team you will have the opportunity to collaboratively provide interventions and treatments to patients across a wide range of specialties. Work with Criticalists 7 days/week to provide things like continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), total plasma exchange (TPE), Hi-Flo oxygen therapy, critical care ventilation and more.

Wage: This position qualifies for +12% overnight and +10-15% weekend differential pay.
- $32-$36 hourly for Certified Veterinary Technicians (or other license type that is transferable to Oregon)
- $38-$44 hourly for Veterinary Technician Specialists
- ***$10,000 bonus** available every 6 months for CVTs working overnight ICU shifts with at least 3 years of ECC or 5 years total experience and strong advanced nursing skills (e.g. CRI calculations, NG tubes, extended differentials, and central lines). Staying in good standing and meeting attendance expectations keeps you eligible for this bonus.
Schedule:
Technicians in ECC work 3/4 rotating schedules with 10 hours shifts. This means you have a consistent schedule that makes planning the rest of your life easy so you can play and rest just as hard as you work.

- Minimum of two years working in the veterinary field as a technician or assistant.
- Preferred minimum of one year emergency or other specialty small animal care experience.
- Current status as a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Oregon OR currently Licensed Veterinary Technician OR Registered Veterinary Technician, or other form of credentialed veterinary nurse or technician elsewhere with the ability to transfer license to Oregon.
- High school diploma or equivalent
