Saturdays and Sundays the shift begins at 8:30pm and ends at 7:30am. The shift is located in a 4 unit family shelter in Blue Point. The duties are overall monitoring of the site and residents and their children by doing rounds, attending to residents needs, monitoring their household activities and documenting any progress notes. This position requires the ability to engage with clients, assist with daily needs, and think on your feet in the event of a resident crisis such as a medical emergency. Experience working in shelter setting is preferred. Part time employees in a fixed position may also work per diem hours as needed if desired in and among the other 2 shelter sites operated by the agency. Our shelters are updated and clean.
