Responsibilities: - Responsible for multiple clients' bookkeeping needs - Month-end and Quarter-end closing - Post and reconcile the General Ledger - Prepare payroll and remit payroll taxes - Code and enter credit card statements - Bank reconciliations - Record fixed assets and depreciation Qualifications: - working towards Bachelor's degree - Previous experience in accounting field or bookkeeping environment with a thorough understanding of the accounting cycle - Proficiency with current accounting and tax programs such as QuickBooks, Excel and the Creative Solutions suite or similar - Excellent communication skills with superior client service focus - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously - An eagerness to learn and develop that extends outside of textbook tax and accounting issues
