    Job Description

    AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for an Owner’s Representative Project Manager for mixed-use project in Portland, ME.

    Job duties:

    • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
    • Manages the integration of multiple commercial components to ensure the project meets the owner's strategic and financial goals.
    • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
    • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

    _ Minimum Requirements:_

    • BS Engineering/Construction Management or similar curriculum and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    _ Preferred Qualifications:_

    • 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a specific knowledge of large-scale multifamily or mixed-use projects.
    • Experience in working to align high-level development strategy and technical construction execution.
    • Construction experience in monitoring and maintaining budgets, reviewing requests, managing change orders, and evaluating/recommending value engineering to optimize project costs.
    • Experience as primary point of contact between the owner and all parties, including architects, general contractors, lenders, and municipal authorities.
    • Strong and applicable knowledge of contracts, delivery methods, safety standards (OSHA), and local building codes.
    • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests in high-stakes environments.
    • Understanding of building systems that must different occupancy types.
    • Knowledge of construction documentation such as RFP, RFI, change order management, subcontractor certification, etc.
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, and construction project management software such as CMiC, Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.
