We're looking for an Insurance Agent and/or a Service Specialist with a P/C focus and a business-minded spirit, with amazing customer service skills, to join our fast-growing insurance agency and help clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products, processing claims and inquiries, and developing an ever-growing lead list to secure new business. This position is paid hourly, and employees are permitted to work overtime, as approved by their manager. Employees also receive commissions on their written policies, with the additional opportunity for quarterly bonuses based on attainable quotas. Responsibilities: • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risks, goals, current coverage, and financial situation for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience • Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs, and propose ideal options for their unique circumstances • Prepare personalized insurance quotes, overcome objections, and close sales while providing great customer service and communication • Create and maintain relationships with customers, coworkers, and the company's real estate agent connections • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements • Provide timely responses to all inquiries and quote proposals and document all conversations and next actions in the provided software system(s) • Continuously educate yourself on the industry and learn about new products and services Qualifications: • 1+ year of insurance experience in Personal Lines (preferred, may be able to substitute with other customer service/sales experience) • High school or received GED required, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred • Must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance license, or can reactivate quickly • Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required • Willingness to learn and be coachable • Maintain an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude daily • Computer skills are a must, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with quoting software preferred Compensation: $37,000 - $38,000 + commissions
